Features

There’s not a shortage of options when it comes to choosing a first and affordable airsoft gun, with nearly all brands competing for the most feature packed M4 style replica at the lowest possible price point, as well as new contenders throwing their offerings into the ring. The latter we find here with Saigo Defence and their Kenji M4. The Kenji actually features internal specs found on options way above the budget it sits at. Saigo Defence however have managed to keep that cost down by using high quality lightweight polymer externals. Externally there's an included metal suppressor on a 14mm CCW outer barrel, a nice full length Keymod rail with a full length 20mm rail on top and some extra sections of rail to attach to the Keymod for mounting accessories. There’s a nice ergonomic and textured pistol grip, flip up iron sights, and a sleek, tactical 6 position stock. Inside, powering the rifle is a metal V2 gearbox with steel gears, aluminium vented cylinder, metal piston and 16000 RPM motor. It also features a rotary hop unit and 65 degree hop rubber, making it better suited to being capable of lifting heavier ammo. This is a lot of bang for buck already. Saigo are confident in its capabilities and provide an 11.1v Lipo battery and charger which give it a very satisfying 18RPS rate of fire out of the box. Great option for a first gun. M4s are popular, making it easy to find mags and upgrade parts for making it an excellent project gun host too. Saigo Defence offers it in both Black and Black/Tan, as a carbine as well as a short PDW.  Fantastic out of the box starter gun or backup gun for more experienced players.
