Operators can swap the main spring quickly through the rear of the gearbox without having to fully disassemble internal gear sets. Running on robust 7mm bearings and high-strength steel gears, the internal Version 3 gearbox is engineered for maximum longevity.

AK74N Optics & Tactical Expandability

As an "N" variant (AK74N), the steel receiver features a factory-riveted side dovetail mounting rail. This rail allows you to easily attach classic Russian optics (such as PSO-1 or Kobra sights) or modern Picatinny side-mount adapters for red dots and magnified scopes.
