DuPont™ Zytel® Armor & Advanced Ergonomics The exterior skin of the EPM is constructed from authentic DuPont™ Zytel® reinforced polymer, a material selected for its extreme structural resilience and impact resistance during high-speed, drop-free reloads. The side walls feature clean, recessed grip panels textured to ensure positive weapon manipulation under wet, muddy, or high-stress environments. Running along the spine are continuous magwell guides that drastically minimize friction when seating the mag or drawing it out from tight tactical chest rigs. The base is equipped with an angled polymer floor plate featuring a ribbed front ledge for fast extraction, an alpha-numeric identification matrix for kit numbering, and a flat lower footprint that doubles as an integrated monopod stabilizer for prone shooting.

Flawless High-ROF Feeding & Orange Full-Load Witness Window Internally, the EPM utilizes a premium, low-friction channel configuration paired with a high-efficiency steel coil compression spring. This setup eliminates internal tracking friction, allowing the magazine to feed consistently into demanding high-rate-of-fire configurations, such as custom Dual Sector Gear (DSG) builds or high-speed HPA setups. For added tactical realism, the side of the shell features a clear viewport revealing dummy 5.56x45mm cartridges. Embedded within this window is a unique bright orange indicator tip; when the magazine is filled to its true 150-round capacity, the orange marker slides into position to signal a complete load and prevent accidental overfill spring damage.

Field & Maintenance Recommendations The PTS EPM feeds smoothly across all major brands of high-polished precision 6mm BBs from 0.20g up to heavy-weight ammo. To preserve the operational lifespan and tension of the internal steel compression spring, always use the top lip release tab to fully clear out remaining BBs before putting your gear into long-term storage. Keep the internal feed tracks dry and free of debris; never inject liquid silicone oil or grease aerosol inside the BB track, as the lubricant will collect dust and cause micro-jams.
