The Tokyo Marui 1911 series of pistols are the most reliable and gas efficient 1911 airsoft pistols on the market. This is due to the lightweight plastic slide. They dont have heavy metal slides like other brands but the quality control and finish is second to none. They even perform well in colder weather where full metal 1911 airsoft pistols highly rely on CO2 gasses. The Tokyo Marui 1911s are also double stacked with their magazines compared to other brands single stack. Tokyo Marui also offer a lot of variance in terms of models and variants but they all use the same system in terms of functionality however they differ in external look and parts. The MEU version of the 1911 is a more modern looking choice for the airsofter. You get slide serrations along with updated Novak style iron sights. You also will have extended ambidextrous safety levers and a wrap around style grip for extra comfort. A drilled more modern looking trigger can be seen also as well as an MEU magazine which has a bumber plate fitted to the bottom. Great for those special forces load outs too.
