Buy Now Pay Later (Quick Finance) The SF-DI is an ergonomically designed low profile high output device for special operation use. The impact mechanical actuation allows the device to only function on contact with a hard surface. This gives the operator greater flexibility and safety when deploying the device at distance or close to the threat for maximum disorientation effect.
The SF-DI can be used in conjunction with an ACS Trigger Pouch for fast safe one handed deployment.
The SF-DI can also be loaded with a variety of low, high and ultra-high output munitions that have been specifically manufactured for training and operations using night vision or thermal equipment. The munitions by design are low smoke and reduced flash optimising on target disorientation, identification and acquisition. The munitions deliver a high pressure impulse for optimised for disorientation.

DEVICE ACTION WHEN DEPLOYED
The device can be loaded with low, high or ultra-high output munitions depending on your training / operational requirements.
On removal of the safety pin the device is deployed into the target area. The lever ejects away from the body of the device fully disengaging all safety systems.
When the device impacts a hard surface regardless of distance deployed the pivot moves causing the discharge pin to strike the primer on the loaded munition.
This Civilian model uses .209 shotgun primers which are really cheap and ideal for airsoft and training use (usually works out to 7p ber bang)
The loaded munition and its energetic content then deflagrates causing light, sound and pressure to be dispersed through the base deflecting apertures into the local atmosphere causing distraction and disorientation to nearby personnel that are not wearing PPE.
